‘Their debut album full of buzzsaw guitar anthems does all the things I would want from rock. Manic pop thrills, screaming riffs, and screaming blue murder.  Sensational.’
The Herald

‘The trio’s live shows are nothing short of electrifying.’
Still Listening Magazine

‘Unrelentless for the entirety, the instinctively primeval vocals over fuzzed-up guitars and a solid rhythm section pummel you into submission. Seriously good music, but without being po-faced or overly solemn.’
The List

‘I absolutely love this.’
Amy Lamé – BBC Radio 6 Music

Bio

The Kidney Flowers’ live shows have been described ‘nothing short of electrifying’, with their unique sound and explosive energy having earned them a reputation as being one of Scotland’s ‘must-see’ live acts.

Based in their native Glasgow, the group initially formed as a duo, with couple Grant Canyon on guitar/vocals and Abigail A. on drums. The band were eventually joined by Tog Miller on Bass in 2022.

The band’s distinctive, raw sound owes much to the primitive, stripped back approach of drummer Abigail. A rookie to the kit before starting the band, Abigail taught herself to play drums after listening to 60’s garage bands on repeat. The raw and powerful beats are the driving force behind Grant’s agitated, dissonant guitar style, his politically charged, frantic vocal delivery and Tog Miller’s virtuosic, fuzzed out bass playing.

Championed by the likes of Amy Lamé on BBC Radio 6 Music, Snack Mag, The List, and The Herald, the band have been touring the UK relentlessly since 2022 and have just completed recording their third album in Glasgow’s iconic Green Door Studio.

The Kidney Flowers are:
